What is dog daycare?

Dog daycare is our supervised program where dogs move through structured play, enrichment activities, and scheduled rest with trained attendants. Dogs get both mental and physical stimulation in a safe, climate-controlled facility with a large turf exercise area.

How do I enroll my dog?

The first step is to register with our new client booking page. Next, we will need a copy of your dog's current vaccinations (Bordetella, Distemper and Rabies) along with a clean fecal in the last year, or the last month for puppies. From there your dog starts the Dog Daze Signature 5-Day Induction Program: five structured days that build up from a calm first visit to a full routine, rather than being dropped straight into a group. You get a report card with honest feedback on how your dog did.

What vet records will I need?

Your pet must be up to date on: Bordetella, Rabies (we need the certificate or documentation with the tag number), DHLPP (Distemper, hepatitis, leptospirosis, parainfluenza and parvovirus), and Negative Fecal Float (yearly test for intestinal parasites or worms).

What do I need to bring to daycare?

Please bring dogs on a flat 4-6 foot leash with a flat quick-release collar. Retractable leashes are not allowed. Harnesses, clothing and collars must be removed before entering the playroom. You may provide food for your pet or request to use our house option for $4 per meal. Keep belongings to a minimum - we have blankets, bowls and toys to provide.

Do you allow puppies?

Yes, we allow puppies! Puppies need to be up to date on vaccinations and have a clean fecal test (within the last month for puppies). We offer special Puppy Head Start training packages for young dogs.

What does 'peak period' mean?

Peak periods are busy times such as all long holiday weekends, spring break, summer break, and from Thanksgiving through New Years. During peak periods, there is a 2-night minimum stay requirement for boarding, and deposits are non-refundable.

My dog is new to boarding. What should I expect?

New dogs must have a 2-night minimum stay. The first day is for them to learn the environment and get comfortable. On the second day, they will be evaluated for group play. This slow introduction ensures a smooth transition and allows us to monitor your dog's comfort and ensure there is no fear or aggression.

Yes, all daycare packages expire in 60 days from purchase. Packages are non-refundable and require 72 hour cancellation notice.
